Rodolfo (Rudy) Valladares was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Miami, Florida. When he was young, he enjoyed tennis and fencing where he was awarded scholarships in those sports. He received his Bachelor's degree in Architecture and his Master's in Building Construction from the University of Florida. He has worked for an engineering firm, CH2MHILL, for the past twenty-eight years. Maria is his wife of thirty-one years and they have seven children. Their ages range from twenty-seven to thirteen.

Angelina, his eldest, is in her first year of fellowship in Pediatrics Endocrinology at Shands. She has ministered in the Dominican Republic these past two years for two weeks at a time. Rodolfo received his chemical engineering degree from the University of Florida three years ago and in the fall starts his first year of law school. David is in his second year of law school. Both are being trained in the ministry of Christian law at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Gloria is a junior in the College of Education at the University of Florida and is in the Pro-Teach Program where she will earn her master's degree in 2007. She is the Youth Group Leader and the Webmaster at Living Faith Fellowship. Carolina is a senior dual-enrolling at Santa Fe Community College. She plans to major in architecture. Ariel is in 10th grade and Miguel is in the 8th grade. They both are attending Westwood Hills Christian School where their mother, Maria, is teaching Spanish.

Rudy was raised Catholic and on July 25, 1974, became born-again under the ministry of Mike Braun. He was baptized that summer in water, and in the fall of the same year, in the Holy Spirit. Rudy and his family attended the Church of the Shepherd until the summer of 1984. From then to the present, he has been a member of Living Faith Fellowship. On October 2, 1988, he was ordained to the work of the gospel ministry by pastor, C.R. Smith, and elder, Billy Devore Jr. at the time. Rudy has ministered in Mexico, Venezuela, and Guatemala and desires to see all believers come to realize a walk "in Jesus" fulfilled in faith. This will be Rudy's third year pastoring Living Faith Fellowship where he ministers to the congregation to seek to know God and live wholeheartedly for Him.
