The ladies of Living Faith Fellowship meet once a month for fellowship.
Each month, a lady picks the day and time to invite the rest of the ladies to her home. She may do the teaching or ask another lady to share. Ladies meetings should be more than a time of discussion; it should be a time of developing into a 'member' of the church. Ladies group is a place for each individual to grow and experience the POWER of unity! "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor." Eccl. 4:9
Believe it or not, this verse is not only about marriage! How does this apply to your relationship with your family, friends, spouse, coworkers, people at church. HOSPITALITY; "A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water. But a man of understanding draws it out." Prov. 20:5 That is why our monthly Ladies Meetings are held in our homes. It is very good training to serve and open one's home to the fellowship of each other. Guests are always welcomed.
Some of the things usually covered are:
1. Housekeeping = Sometimes women can spot things that need doing in the church before it is obvious to the men;
2. Calendar = a look ahead of specific activities makes it easier for planning;
3. Reviewing of ministries = we need to be sensitive to those that are always doing and let someone else learn that ministry;
4. Practice your testimonies with each other to become confident in articulating what the Lord has done for you; and
5. Pray = "The effective prayers of a righteous man (woman) can accomplish much." James 5:16
